REUNION SCHEDULE

FOR THE 25TH AACS Alumni Association Reunion
Thursday, September 20th – Sunday, September 23, 2001
At the Knoxville, Hilton
Knoxville, Tennessee

GENERAL:

The AACS PX Manager, will display AACS shirts, golf shirts, wind breakers, hats, patches, C- 47 Flight Check Airplanes, etc. for sale to members at an announced location during the reunion. There will be the usual Saturday night Drawing to defray travel expenses ($500 and a $250 award), a special drawing for a member made Afghan and a drawing for the winner(s) of the 50/50 drawing(s).

DRESS CODES:  Casual for all events except for the Banquet, where men are required to wear coats and ties and ladies to dress appropriately.

WEDNESDAY, September 19th:
Time Cost Description
3 pm - 6 pm $70 per-person EARLY CHECK IN: If a large number of members have arrived on Wednesday and are in the Hotel, we will begin registrations in the Hotel lobby or in the Hospitality Room which will be opened and location displayed in hotel lobby.
EVENING Open - No events scheduled

THURSDAY, September 20th:
Time Cost Description
10am - 6 pm $70 per-person CHECK IN: Check in for all members and guest at the Registration Desk in or near the Hotel Lobby.
4:15 pm (SHARP) $39 per-person Dixie Stampede Western Dinner Show - Pigeon Forge, Tenn
COME EARLY BUS LEAVES AT 4:15PM SHARP..........
6 pm - ?? The check in moves to the Hospitality room.
1 pm - midnight Hospitality Room will be open for all members and guests. Location will be displayed at the Registration Desk and in the Hotel Lobby.

FRIDAY, September 21st:
Time Cost Description
7:45 am $48 GOLF EVENT: All golfers who signed up for this event will meet in the lobby to form car pools. Tee times and pairings will be posted at the Registration desk and in the Hospitality room. Lunch is Included. Estimated time of return to the Hotel is: 4:30 pm. Golf Director is:  George Roberts _____________________.
8:00 am $16 Smoky Mountain Tour/Overlook (bring camera's), Visit Gatlinburg for shopping and Lunch. Lunch is on an individual basis. At least 3 hours in Gatlinburg and return to Hotel by 4:30 pm.
8:30 am $30 TOUR: Of the Science and Energy Museum and the Museum of Appalachia. This tour includes a BBQ LUNCH. Estimated time of return to hotel is: 4:30 pm.
2:30 pm Attention Hams!  Ten-Tec Tour.   Carpool meets at hotel
9:00 am - Noon $70 per-person CHECK IN: continues at the Registration Desk in or near the lobby.
1 pm to midnight Hospitality Room will be open for members and guests.
EVENING OPEN - No events scheduled

SATURDAY, September 22nd:
Time Cost Description
7:30 am BREAKFAST/GENERAL MEETING:  Ballroom will be announced.
9:15 am State of AF Air Traffic Control (Air Force Flight Standards Agency)
10 am MEMORIAL SERVICE:  A Memorial Service will be held to reflect on those Members and/or their families who have missed roll call during the past year. Location will be announced.
10:45 am - 3:30 pm $38 City tour/Boat Ride & Lunch. Tour includes "Women's Basketball Hall of Fame", city sites and boat ride including lunch on the Tennessee River.   Return to Hotel by 3:30pm.
Noon - 4 pm Hospitality Room will be open for members and guests. It will close at 4 pm to allow members and guests to prepare for the Banquet with will begin at 6:30 pm.
6 pm - 6:30 pm Pay as you go OPEN BAR:  A pay-as-you-go-bar will be available in or near the ballroom prior to the Banquet.
6:30 pm - 9 pm BANQUET. Members and guests are asked to be seated in the Ballroom prior to the Posting of Colors and Pledge of Allegiance at 6:45 pm. DRESS CODE:  Coats and ties for men, appropriate dress for the Ladies.

SUNDAY, September 23rd:
Time Cost Description
7:30 am - 11 am GET-AWAY-BREAKFAST: General announcements, presentations and any other last minute loose ends.  Announcementof the 2002 reunion at Dayton, Ohio.  Brief overview by Host Stan & JoAnn Phillips.  MEMBERS AND GUESTS with early travel plans will be served first.  All members and guests are thanked for their participation in the 25th AACS reunion and wished a SAFE TRIP HOME.
